Tobacco Barns in Connecticut
I saw these beautiful barns in the fields in Connecticut. There were poles, like clothes lines, all over the fields as well and I had no idea what type of crop was grown there. Found out it was tobacco, and the poles were used to hang the leaves... like a clothes line. The barns were used for the drying and smoking. I plan to paint this same scene in the snow next. Red barns on white.
